Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients:

  • 400 grams spaghetti
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 400 grams canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Remove any excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until the onion is softened.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve the Bolognese sauce over the cooked spaghetti.
  6. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
