An elderly man decided to revisit his college days and went to the hostel where he once resided as a youth. Standing in front of room number 3, he nostalgically knocked on the door, saying:
“May I come in? I lived in this very room thirty years ago when I studied in this college.”
A young man opened the door and welcomed him inside. The old man, filled with memories, examined the room, pointing out familiar elements.
“The same old room, the same old wooden table, the ventilator, and the same old window that opens to the garden. And the same old bed.”
As he inspected the bed, to his surprise, he found a young girl hiding underneath. The young man, sensing the need to explain, quickly reassured the elderly visitor:
“Don’t mistake me. She is my cousin. She dropped her earring and is searching for it.”
With a knowing smile, the old man responded, “And the same old story!”
